Take the pledge
Our democracy is under threat, as almost 400 anti-voter bills have been considered by lawmakers across 39 states for the 2022 legislative session. These bills most often introduce policies that restrict early voting and vote by mail, and infuse partisanship into the typically nonpartisan process of counting votes and certifying elections.
These bills are deeply unpopular, and would disproportionately impact low income people and voters of color. Restricting the freedom to vote is bad for democracy and bad for business. With this pledge, we are asking corporate America to reject these efforts to making voting more difficult, and to take a stand on behalf of American voters and democracy.
We are asking companies to forgo all corporate contributions to the campaigns of any state or federal lawmakers who vote to restrict voting access.
